Twelve teenagers from schools/ colleges in the region take part in a programme once a week, arriving at RDA at 9am and leaving at 12.30pm. The programme involves horse riding, vaulting, driving and horse care as well as establishing and caring for a vegetable garden. Students are learning the skills to grow healthy vegetables and caring for a worm farm.
The students round off the morning in the new conference room facilities, with a recap. They write diary entries and stories followed by a shared lunch.

This is the first time Marlborough RDA has attempted a session of this type and duration and everyone is thrilled with the results. The interactivity, social skills and friendships are a joy to watch.
This programme is proving very popular, with more colleges and schools wishing to take part.
